The International Center for the Advancement of Adult Learning was a female owned, private firm comprised of a core team of experts in adult learning and living systems dynamics, and a virtual team of peer professionals: academics, researchers, program designers, analysts and educational consultants.

Founded in 1989, ICAAL provided services in knowledge dissemination improving the efforts of clients in industry, health care, academia, and government. ICAAL’s methods and strategies used natural learning abilities, peripheral competencies, complex systems’ behavior and multiple intelligence frameworks for first and second level learning affecting outcomes.

ICAAL Offered Over a Century of Combined Experience

Practice included experts with experience in the fields of adult learning,
information/innovation diffusion, community development, government policy, information physics, anthropology, sociology, military intelligence, behavioral psychology, living systems dynamics, and adult motivation/ persistence theory.
Services

ICAAL, and its consulting division, Adaptive Solutions, provided a full range of diagnostic, advisement, policy and materials design services.  Their strength was in their ability to discover and synthesize evidence, and articulate complex ideas into content driven processes that accelerate learning, improve knowledge transfer, and information/innovation diffusion. They worked closely with their  clients taking each project from conceptualization through implementation.

Services included, but are not limited to, interactive organizational learning workshops, the creation of custom designed tools and strategies for internal information/ innovation diffusion and scenario building/strategic planning facilitation.  Consultation and advisement was available both on and off site.
